Start by adding the skis you want to track in Skis. Select the skis you want to compare, then use the testing flow to record your observations and ranking. Add the conditions that matter to you, such as style, snow, temperature, and location, so the result is useful to revisit later.

Keep the first test simple: compare a small set of skis in consistent conditions and make clear notes. Ski Lab helps organize your testing; the result remains a decision-support tool, not a guarantee of performance or suitability.

Select skis that are appropriate for the same session and compare them using a repeatable routine. When reviewing results, consider the recorded conditions, your notes, and the test ranking together rather than relying on a single result alone.

You can keep your ski inventory organized with details such as style and serial number, then use your test history to build a clearer picture over time.

Your private skis and results are private by default. You can choose to share information through teams, events, and sharing permissions. When a result is shared to a team event, teammates with access to that event might be able to view the shared copy depending on the team privacy policy.

Review the audience before sharing. Removing access may not remove a historical copy that was already published to an event; contact the team owner or Ski Lab support if you need help removing one.

Loan skis are team-managed skis that can be assigned to members instead of belonging only to one personal inventory. Team staff can manage the loan fleet and, where their role and plan allow it, assign, reassign, or unassign skis for the team.

Add a valid location when recording a test. Tests with locations appear in Test locations, where you can select a marker to see tests performed there and filter mapped results by recorded details.

The map shows locations for the test data you can access; it does not make a private result public.

Ski Lab includes a free option, while paid plans provide additional team and inventory capacity or features. Available plans, current limits, prices, trials, and billing terms are shown on the Plans & Pricing page and at checkout.

If you already have a paid plan, manage changes and billing through your subscription options.

Ski Lab can be installed as a web app on supported browsers and devices. Offline behavior depends on your browser, device, and which parts of the app have been available locally. Reconnect before relying on changes being saved or shared, and use the offline page to retry after your connection returns.

Go to Account to download a copy of your data or permanently delete your account and data. If you have an active subscription, deletion also asks you to confirm cancellation of that subscription.

With your separate permission, Ski Lab uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage information, such as page views and feature usage, to help improve the product. Ski names, test IDs, team names, precise locations, rankings, and comments are not sent to Analytics.
