Ski Lab is a ski-management and performance-testing service for athletes, coaches, teams, and brands. For privacy questions, contact contact.skilab@gmail.com.
We collect information you provide when you create an account, such as your email address, display name, profile image, ski inventory, test results, team memberships, messages, and subscription details.
When you use testing features, records may include conditions, location, weather observations, timestamps, ski metadata, rankings, and comments. You can choose what to share with teams or other users.
We also collect necessary technical information such as device/browser information, notification tokens when you enable push notifications, and service logs used to operate and protect Ski Lab.
We use information to provide inventory, testing, analytics, collaboration, notifications, support, billing, account recovery, security, and data-export/deletion features.
We do not sell your personal information. Private skis and results are private by default. Team owners, moderators, and members can only access information allowed by the team’s visibility settings and your sharing choices.
Ski Lab uses infrastructure and service providers including Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, hosting, and functions; Stripe for subscriptions and payments; and weather/geocoding providers when you use location and weather features. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.
You control sharing through team membership, event visibility, and user sharing permissions. Shared data may be copied into a team event so that teammates can view it. Removing access does not necessarily remove historical copies already published to an event; contact the team owner or Ski Lab support if a copy needs to be removed.
We retain account data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and prevent abuse. We use Firebase security rules, server-side authorization, access controls, and encrypted service connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
From Account, you can download a copy of your account data and permanently delete your account. You can also change notification preferences, stop sharing, remove team memberships, and contact us about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Ski Lab uses browser storage for essential session preferences, an in-progress testing session, PWA behavior, and cookie-consent state. Third-party services may use their own technologies.
With your separate permission, Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage information such as page views and feature usage so we can improve Ski Lab. We do not send ski names, test IDs, team names, precise locations, rankings, or comments to Analytics. You can allow or disable Product analytics at any time from Account settings.
You can manage browser permissions and notification settings in your browser or device.
We may update this policy as the product changes. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify users of material changes.
